A girl weighed down by heavy, negative emotions fights to ignore and escape them. Suddenly, a flood of vivid colors sweeps through her world, each hue bringing an overwhelming rush of feelings. After this intense journey, she is left to wonder about the role these emotions play, and what balance might really mean for her.

This piece is a continuation of CONTENT, an earlier work by Anjali that explores the extremes of light and dark. Now, the focus shifts to the gray space in between, where emotion isn’t so easily defined.
